Price Chopper Fireworks To Light Up Jazz Fest Saturday, June 26th as 11:00 P.M.
Price Chopper Fireworks will once again light up the nighttime skies over Onondaga Hill on Saturday, June 26, immediately following the conclusion of the 9:30 p.m. headline set by Boz Scaggs at the 2010 Syracuse Jazz Fest at Onondaga Community College. Admission to the 28th Annual Jazz Fest and Price Chopper Fireworks Display is free, and all events are open to the public.
The annual Price Chopper Jazz Fest Fireworks display by Auburn Telstar Display Fireworks uses state-of-the-art computer-generated pyrotechnic choreography to create the ultimate in fireworks extravaganzas, and is scheduled to follow Boz Scaggs' Saturday Headline performance at the Louis H. Everding Main Stage at Jazz Fest, which will end at approximately 11:00 p.m., according to Jazz Fest founder Frank Malfitano.
"This year marks the eighth year in a row that Jazz Fest fireworks have been sponsored by Price Chopper Supermarkets," Malfitano said. "So thanks to our friends at Price Chopper, Jazz Fest has been able to present Central NY’s first seasonal 4th of July fireworks display every year since 2003."
The Jazz Festival’s three-day, twin-stage format will present continuous music alternating between the Louis H. Everding Main Stage and the Entergy Scholastic Stage. This year’s jazz festival Headliners are the Jeff Lorber Fusion, Boz Scaggs and the legendary Natalie Cole.
