Price Chopper Fireworks to Add Spark to Syracuse Jazz Fest

(SYRACUSE, NY) Price Chopper Supermarkets today announced sponsorship of the fireworks display at the 2010 Syracuse Jazz Fest on the campus of Onondaga Community College.

“2010 marks the 8th year that Price Chopper has presented the fireworks show at the Syracuse Jazz Fest. We are thrilled to support the festival, as it fits the Price Chopper mission of helping to bring free, cultural events that appeal to fans of all ages, to the community,” said Pam Cerrone, Manager of Promotions and Consumer Services at Price Chopper. “Fireworks are a great way to end a delightful summer evening of world-class jazz,” she added. The Syracuse Jazz Fest is one of more than 75 summer 2010 events in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire that will be supported by Price Chopper. The fireworks display will be held Saturday, June 26, day two of the event. Rain date will be Sunday, June 27.
